Overview of cumulative experience of Kevin M. Allan
Born in a rural New Hampshire town and raised by ethically strong yet poor parents my desire to excel started very young. As I grew and wanted more for myself than my parents could provide I began working at 12 years old. My first job was working on my street for a deaf clock smith helping him and his wife a few hours per week with yard chores. After a few months my great uncle hired me to work for him at his store/dairy bar and within a month I found myself running the dairy bar single handedly during the summer rush not only serving ice cream but grilled food as well. My work experience continued through high school in various positions as I sought the “perfect job”.
By my mid twenties I realized that working for someone else was not going to cut it for me and I began to work for myself in the construction field. With an ever changing economy I was forced to go back to work for someone else and took a job as an O.P.C (outside personal contact) for a timeshare resort in 1995.This was a great job as I’ve always been a people person and I excelled quickly. My objective at this job was to greet tourist and invite them to the resort for a sales pitch but I wanted more than just bodies and focused on personality types. My approach was successful and I was able to bring in a sale 1 out of 3 times with the norm being 1 out of 5 for most of the other workers. As the season for timeshare dwindled I moved indoors to work as a tele-marketer and then moved to New York to create a similar O.P.C program for Fryer Tuck, a major timeshare resort located in Catskill N.Y. The program was not successful in this area because of the remote location and after 3 months advised the resort to put their efforts into their telemarketing program for cost effectiveness.
Upon becoming a Father in 1998 I returned to the construction world as a self employed carpenter and was able to keep my head above water until the economic collapse in New Hampshire 2009. Since that time I moved to Texas for a short time working in collections but my desire was California and so my 3 sons and I along with a close friend moved to California so I could sharpen my people skills via social network marketing. In March of this year when the disaster in Japan occurred I became very active in trying to wake up people to the danger of radiation fallout and soon became a volunteer radio host of "Revolution Radio" After 2 months of show hosting I was invited by the site owner to come to Kentucky to assist in developing the site and furthering my reach and interaction with the entire world as “masterofmanythings” a tag I have used most of my life because of my drive to succeed and my ability to learn quickly anything I decide to do.
My journey continues forward and another goal has been reached by bringing this humble site online
